Har Ki Pauri Ghat Haridwar

Har Ki Pauri is an important bathing ghat in the world. thousands of people daily visit Haridwar. Every Hindu has to visit once in Haridwar and take the holy bath. The Ganga ji Aarti ceremony is daily performed at this holy Ghat in the morning and evening. Many locals, tourists, devotees, and foreigners attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar.

This is the holy place where the river Ganga flows from the mountains towards the plains. According to mythology, when Samundaramanthan took place Gods and demons were fighting of the nectar produced from it. some drops of nectar dropped at this place "Har Ki Pauri".

In the month of Shiv Ji (Sawan Mahina), Shiv devotees carry Ganga Jal from Haridwar at their shoulders for their residence lord Shiv temple.
