Swarg Ashram Rishikesh

Swarg Ashram is located at the foot of the Himalayas in Yog Nagri, Rishikesh. It is the center of yoga and Meditation. Sawarg is a Sanskrit word which means to Heaven. It was established in the memory of Swami Vishudhanand in 1906 and he is also known as Kali Kamli Wala Baba.

There are many temples and Ashrams inside it. It is a very popular Ashram among foreigners and local people due to its ethnic touch. It is one of the tourist attractions in Rishikesh. Chanting, Meditation, and Aarti are performed inside the Ashram premises. Every day many tourists visit this place. It is situated between the Ganges and the Himalayas hills.

How to reach Swarg Ashram in Rishikesh

You can reach Swarg Ashram from Ram Jula or Janki Setu. It is about 2 km from Ram Jula and the distance from Haridwar to Swarg Ashram is approx 37 km.
