Shri Chandi Devi temple is very popular Shaktipeeth out of 52 Peeth. It is 3 km from Chandighat and approx 7 km from Haridwar Railway Station and Bus Stand. This is a 3 km trek to reach about 9500 feet from ground level. It takes time in trekking. You can also take a ticket for ropeway.

Best time to visit Chandi Devi Temple

This temple is open to devotees every day of the year. The best time to visit here is February, March, October and November. Coming here in July and August brings danger. There is heavy rain during these days due to which you may face frostbite, hence it is advisable not to visit the temple in July and August. April, May, and June are the peak season, many devotees visit on those days. Because these are in summer vacation months, Children come to visit with their parents.
